How I find Inspiration to Write

What inspires you to write? Is it a crowded coffee shop or a quiet library? For some, it is a nook in their home and for others the sofa in their living room. As an author, it is important to find a place that gets your creative juices flowing.

For me, I find that I write better when I am surrounded by nature. Beauty inspires me and I try to find places that are visually inspiring. Places like big bear, the beach or a park. Another thing that inspires me is music, the soft sounds of music in the background helps to create a relaxing atmosphere for writing.

Below is a picture of a place that helped me to get a lot of writing done. My husband and I checked into a bungalow at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, it gave me an awe inspiring view of both trees and the ocean. It was like being in big bear with an ocean backdrop! I got so much writing done here. Find your place of inspiration!
